Board Meeting: July 19th at Lake Mills Park at 8:30 prior to
the Kayak Safety Event Get Map
The
Board of Directors are required to meet once every 2 months.
Because of the dispersion of board members throughout the
Florida
pennisular, attempts will be made to provide conference calling for
outlying members while at the same time conduct the core meeting at a
central location that accomodates a speaker
phone. The Website Manager will post
agenda items prior to the meeting in a timely manner so that all board
members have a general idea of the content of the meeting and can be
better prepared to answer questions or investigate needs and issues.
Each board member that has items to include in the upcoming
board meeting should get their details to the web manager in a timely
manner. Especially the Status of Old Business and any New Business.
Because we encourage broad membership participation at our
board
meetings, published agenda and general business transparency creates a
stronger support group.
