| Being an Activity Host has its
benefits |
Earn
Free Membership - Activity Hosts that complete four
events a year will receive free membership (family or individual
depending on your situation) for the next year. The WT calendar runs
from July 1st – June 30th. Your event count will be
retroactive back to the past July 1st. To have your event qualify as an
“Official Event” towards free membership you must
meet the following requirements:
- The event must be submitted and
scheduled in the WT Newsletter
- The activity sign-in form(s) must be
completed and sent to the Activity Director
- A trip report must be posted on the WT
Message Center for each of your completed events
The
Activities Director will keep track of each host's participation and
delivery of required papers. Hosts believing that they have
met
the qualification should verify their standing with the Activities
Director in the July time frame when the prior year has
completed. Please continue to pay your membership fee at your
scheduled time. When you qualify for your free membership we will
extend your membership for the following year if you have already paid. |

Recognition Banquet – The Saturday evening
dinner at the WT Annual Gathering in the fall will be the
Host Recognition Banquet. We have set aside this time to
honor our Activity Host. There will be an “Activity
Host” raffle for a nice prize that evening. Each host will
receive one raffle ticket for each event that they have completed for
the prior year ending June 30th. |

Tags
– The Wilderness Trekker green nametag will be provided to
hosts
through the Activities Director. The hosts have to initiate
the
request. |
